Circle L Ranch is Elite Pet Cares fave rescue ranch!

Your Scottsdale pet sitter mosied on up to Prescott on Monday 4/26/10 to visit Circle L Ranch. As you know I volunteer at Lucky Paws Shelter in Phoenix which is Circle L’s Phoenix location.
Prescott was hot! I was hoping that it would be a little cooler since it is up North, but no luck. Thats ok!
When we got up to the Ranch we were greeted by a herd of goats. Now I will tell you that I like goats and never have been afraid of them. Until that day! When 20 come running up to you, its intimidating. They try to get anything out of your hands and they like to nibble clothes. Thank goodness goats are very sweet and dont hurt people:)
After the goats came the sheep. They were in their pens:) Sheep are cute but didnt come to the fence to be pet, they were more concerned with eating, which is fine. There was a black face baaabaaa that was out since they just got him in. He was adorable and sweet!
Then I went to the horses. I love love love horses! They were very friendly and came to the fence to be talked to and pet.
Next I went to see the doggies! There are 3 separate sections which is cool! They all go into a part of a real house and have their own fenced yard to run around in. There is a small dog section, big dog section and senior dog section.
The animals are all loved and well fed! They had fresh water and tons of toys! There are over 100 animals there and each have a name, its so cute:)
I took pictures of all of the animals so Circle L can use them for their website if needed. I also took video which I will post when I get a chance:)

UPDATE:
The dog wash raised $950 for APARN and Lucky Paws Shelter! The rescues will split the proceeds and the doggies THANK YOU!!

Please come out and get your dog washed for a great cause! Lucky PAws Shelter and Arizona Pug Rescue need donations! Summer is super busy with dogs coming into rescues. What better way to help them raise money then fun in the sun! And turning stinky dogs in to sparkling clean pooches!
