Take advantage of June’s Adoption Special: All cats over 6 months are $10. All kittens are $20. All dogs over 6 months are $34. All puppies are $50. The price includes spay/neuter surgery, license and a rabies vaccination (if over three months).

Summer in Scottsdale is hot! Your Scottsdale pet sitters still work as usual during the heat we just adjust our visits/walks to be careful not to over heat the dogs!
If you have a bowl outside as the extra bowl, make sure it is out of the sun and not stainless steel as those heat up fast!
If you have “outdoor” dogs, make sure they have shade during every hr of the day. The place that is shady in the am, wont be the same a few hrs later.
Pets also get sunburnt!
Cool tips:
- Stuff a kong toy with a mixture of peanut butter/yogurt/bananas and put in the freezer. Its a cool treat and keeps dogs busy.
- Knot a tube sock in a few places and soak in water, now freeze. Dogs seem to LOVE licking and chewing on this concoction, maybe because the texture is interesting! And it helps water intake.
- Add ice to water that you get out of the faucet to cool it down.
- Add aditional bowls of water around the house for the cats too!
-Pavement gets hot, put bootie on your dog if it must got out mid day.
In the summer, NEVER leave a pet in a car. EVER. Cars heat up fast and will kill your pets:(
