Sarah Gorman – Owner/Professional Pet Sitter
Hi, I am Sarah, some of my clients call me a dog whisperer:). I’m the owner of Elite Pet Care, LLC, formerly Elite Professional Pet Care. I started this business in 2005 after years and years of pet sitting for friends and family while I worked in the corporate world.
I am an avid pet lover, through and through. My life revolves around my business and helping pets! I love being a Scottsdale pet sitter and dog walker! I know pets are precious and I treat all my clients pets like they are my own! The pics on the main page are some of my clients!
I have been a pet sitter in Scottsdale since 2005. I am a sole proprietor and my business is my life, its all I do, no other job, so you know when I am with your pet, that’s the only place I want to be! Your pets care is my number 1 priority! I have worked hard to be the best pet sitter in Scottsdale and I pride myself in providing the best pet care possible.
I devote my free time to dog rescue, whether with APARN or helping owners in my neighborhood find their lost dogs. If I see a lost dog or cat sign, I will do my best to help owners and their furkids reunite! I have helped dozens of owners find their pets and it is the most rewarding feeling in the world!
I grew up in Chicago and moved to AZ when I was 16. (I am 31 now). I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2001 with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Nutritional Science. My minor has inspired a love for pet nutrition as well, so if you have a question about dog food, please ask!!
After graduation, I worked for a magazine in NY for 6 months, but moved home after being in Manhattan during 9/11.
Back in AZ, I worked for over 2 years at the Arizona Republic news paper. In my free time I was helping out for a local boxer rescue.
I realized that sitting behind a desk for 85% of the workday was not for me. I felt like I needed to be out helping animals. As an avid Animal Planet watcher:) I decided that I wanted to apply to be an animal control officer for Maricopa County.
I was hired and realized that helping owners and animals was my passion. As an ACO, I developed excellent animal handling skills, but reporting to work everyday where dogs were euthanized got very depressing.

With some encouragement from friends, I decided to open my own Scottsdale pet sitting business. I am dedicated to taking care of your pets as if they are my own. I am a sole proprietor and my business is my life! You can be assured that your pets and home will be in the best care possible! When you hire me, your pet and home safely is my number one priority.
I have years of experience and know what to do in any unusual or emergency situation. I have vast knowledge off all things animal related and love to talk pets with my clients.
From pampering and spoiling your pets to maintaining their training routine, I can do it all! I can walk ANY dog guaranteed!
I am a pet sitter servicing Scottsdale, but have contacts to pet sitters around the Valley, so please feel free to contact me for a referral if you are out of my area! For the best care of your fur kids…call me!

Ashley, Professional Pet Sitter
Hi! I’m Ashley, I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2005 with a BA in Communications. I work for Elite Pet Care on overnights and weekends. Growing up, I wanted to be a vet and my sister and I rescued everything we could find in the neighborhood. My family and I cared for many baby bunnies (of course let free) kitty cats, a German Shepard and a Siberian Husky. Recently I was looking through my high school yearbook and I found it ironic that under the category “What I will be doing in 10 years” I had living with 10 cats! Though I have not given up on my dreams (lol), I was fortunate to have met Sarah and lived with her for the last year and a half. During this time, I have learned an unimaginable amount about animals and her passion is unreal. After spending spare time tagging along with her to her clients, she asked me to take on some of her very busy schedule. My goal is to mirror Sarah’s around the clock passion for her clients by providing the best care for your fur kids!
Patty, Professional Pet Sitter
Hi! I’m Patty! I moved to Arizona in 2008 due to my Husband’s career. I have spent the past 16 years as a Lobbyist for a variety of clients and trade organizations and was self-employed for 10 years.
I knew in my heart that I needed a more rewarding career and that I love animals. When I met Sarah to interview her to watch over my two fur babies, she mentioned that she was looking for another sitter to help with her growing business. That was my light-bulb moment!
I am excited on starting my new career at Elite Pet Care and giving back all the energy and enthusiasm I have towards animals. My husband and I live in South Scottsdale with our two dogs. Zeke is a 10-year old Border Collie with energy of a 2 year old and Zonte a 4-year old Akita with heart and tons of fur to go with her great personality. I am looking forward to meeting everyone’s beloved pets and making the client relaxed knowing their loved ones are cared for.
Buddy

Buddy
Buddy is my 7ish year old rescued pug. He was kicked out of a car with his 2 pit bull friends 2 years ago in front of the house of the VP of the local Boxer rescue.(we figure this wasn’t coincidental).
The boxer rescue VP made sure he wasn’t stolen then dumped by scanning for a microchip, posting flyers, and newspaper and internet found ads. After 2 weeks of searching for a possible owner, we realized he was just dumped. Plain and simple.
I pet sat for him and immediately fell in love and adopted him. Buddy is a crazy spastic furkid, but I cant imagine my life without him!
